Dr. Moyer is from Southwestern Vermont and became involved with animal care throughout high school. Dr. Moyer attended veterinary technician school at SUNY Delhi and transferred to Cornell University and obtained a bachelor’s in science. At Cornell, Dr. Moyer was a member of the varsity polo team and coached the first year squad for 2 years after graduation. Additionally, Dr. Moyer worked at Cornell University Hospital for Animal’s Equine and Nemo Farm Animal Hospital for 3.5 years as a licensed veterinary technician. Dr. Moyer attended veterinary school at Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine and later completed the Certified Veterinarian Acupuncturist course at CHI university for acupuncture school.

Dr. Moyer has found an incredible passion through treating various conditions with acupuncture alongside western medicine. The ability to provide near instant relief and correct imbalances within the body have been very rewarding. The passion to learn and provide top quality care while focusing on communication with owners is the keystone to Dr. Moyer’s approach to veterinary medicine. His skills and previous experiences working with a variety of species provides insight and adaptability to diverse situations.

Away from veterinary medicine, Dr. Moyer enjoys time with his family, fishing, hiking, woodworking, and triathlons! Dr. Moyer and his wife have 2 horses, Moon and Reina, 2 dogs, Arya and Sansa, and the cutest barn cat ever, Toga.
